successfully implemented its integrated Sugar- Cogen
plant in the Koppa village of Mandya District in
Karnataka in the year 2004 and set new standards

era for the people of surrounding region when SCM
unleashed a slew of innovative measures to uplift
the livelihood of Growers through community development
programmes. It resulted in raising the confidence
quotient among the farming community that Sugarcane

and successfully managing agri based ventures, the
company adopted the policy of paying farmers within
three working days, which has set an example for the
entire industry to follow.
